QUICK QUESTION

Post by Beanserie » Sun Jan 04, 2009 11:49 pm

Hi! :)

I am stumped and can't recall the name of something. In copying genetic information to create a double helix, the thing that matches the nucleotides according to the genetic code, and checks over them afterwards is called...???? It starts with a P  but it has completely slipped my mind.

Thank you for any/all help!!!! :D
