Anyone know what TERTIARY BASE PAIR is??

Post by darkburnout00 » Mon Nov 03, 2008 4:16 am

I know the concept, but what exactly is the Definition of a Tertiary base pair???
I've been looking everywhere for it. It's found in numerous articles, but not once is it found actually defined.

seems no one knows what it ACTUALLY is.
can someone set it straight for me, what EXACTLY is it?

Is it when a base intrastrand pairs with another base? Or just simply any pairing that causes tertiary structures??
