Why Do Wasps Inside Houses Die Massively?

Post by Mitra2 » Mon Aug 25, 2008 1:55 pm

This year for the second time, we discovered great numbers of dead wasps (about 50) in one of the commonly used rooms in our house. The first time was a few years ago after a holiday, the second time on an ordinary day.

We haven't seen any wasps in our garden this year, nor have we seen any of the wasps alive inside the house.
Where do they come from, and why do they die so suddenly and so massively?

The internet doesn't give us any clue to their cause of death. Who has the answer?

They might be getting in through the attic. Perhaps the heat in there kills them or maybe it's something else. Do you have any pesticides in your attic?
Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

Not that I know of... I have no doubt that they enter the house somewhere, but what puzzles me is that we never see them inside ór outside the house, yet in a few hours time they all seem to gather at one place to die.
