Properties of Cellulose?

Post by tgl84 » Wed May 14, 2008 10:59 am

I'm doing a project which is related to design a face mask for breathing (respirator). As the material selection is very limited , i'm thinking use "cellulose" to be my material of face mask. izzit work ? is it enough hardness to be a mask ?

thanks

You probably don't want to look at "hardness" for a face mask. Usually the criterion is porosity.

What would be the purpose of a redesign of already existing technology?

Many face mask are made of paper which is essentially cellulose... So yes it works
