Animal ethology

Post by victor » Tue Jun 14, 2005 1:20 pm

Hey, does anyone can help me to definite these words??
Conditioning, habituation, imprinting, instinc, initiation, imitation.
It's said that all the words above related with animal behaviour and we can learn it in ethology (unfortunately I don't have ethology in my bio curicullum).

All of these with the exception of initiation can be found in the site's dictionary.

Initiation is a ceremony, ritual, test, or period of instruction with which a new member is admitted to an organization or level of attainment or in animal's cases, a herd or group.
