Post by Bioslave » Tue Jan 29, 2008 9:16 pm

if a Ph of 7 is 10x more acidic than a Ph of 8 would a Ph of 6 be 20x more acidic than a Ph of 8?

Thanks!

no, it's 100 times (not 20 times)...

it's a logarithmic scale...

1, 10, 100, 1000, 10000...etc.
