Trouble w/ plant cells

Post by cbrons » Tue Jan 29, 2008 8:49 am

I am some trouble figuring out something with the lab question I received. it has to do with leaves vs. roots. The question is "Would you expect to find all these cell organelles in every living plant cell? what organelle might be present in leaves but not in roots?"

I thought it was Chloroplasts because the roots of trees aren't green and don't undergo photosynthesis?... well I dont know I guess I'm just an idiot. I really am clueless and have been trying to research it for the past few hours and the lab book I have is just awful. Can someone help me? Or at least point me in the right direction?

Its definitely chloroplasts. Sometimes you should trust your own brain and not bother with the textbooks hehe.
