In need of help for renal response to water load

We did an experiment where:

Group A: Subjects drank water flavoured with orange juice
Group B: Subjects drank 0.9% saline flavoured with orange juice
Group C: Subjects drank water flavoured with orange juice and then undertook physical stress of exercise after diuresis had become established.
Group D: Subjects drank water flavoured with orange juice and then after the diuresis had become established were exposed to emotional stress.

Got one or 2 questions about this investigation I am struggling with.

Consider the following:
1. The effect of water load on urine output and chloride excretion. Why is there a delay between imbibing water and the onset of diuresis?
2, The effect of isotonic saline on urine output and chloride excretion. Why is chlrodie excretion in this group different from that when water alone is imbibed.
3. The effect of mental and physical stress upon urine output and chloride excretion. Do the changes occur during or after the imposed stress.

Was wondering if someone could help.

1. Because water takes time to get absorbed
2. Because kidneys control osmolarity of blood.
3. Because it affects glands(guess which ones).
