Help finding sources on Evolution!

Post by handbanana » Fri Oct 12, 2007 8:14 pm

We dissected a frog, dogfish shark, snake, rat and an earthworm and we're supposed to write a report on how the nervous and ciruclatary systems have evolved in these organisms and weather their evolution is consiered a "sucess story" or not.

I can't find any good biology books to write this report. Can anyone recommened me a few?

It's a bio101 at a community college btw.

Thanks! :)

Hmm. Try Life: The science of Biology, by Purves and Sadava (and others). I'd type the ISBN but the book is soo heavy and far away...

Also: if I were you I'd completely take the mickey out of the 'success story' part... what a ridiculous thing to ask.
"What are humans if they don't learn at University? Animals, yes."

^^One of my ex-girlfriends said that. I stress the ex part.
