An Evolution Simulation

Post by Azedenkae » Wed Oct 10, 2007 8:30 am

Whilst going through some webpages earlier today, I found one that was quite very interesting. Whilst limited, it did show many aspects of natural selection, including how different factors can affect how well a species adapt and survive. And it also includes mutation, which occurs every once in a while randomly.

The organisms are basically just squiggles that move at different speeds and have different sizes and eat green squares, which regenerates. Anyways, take a look and check it out.

Note that Dietmar Jarosch created this, I just coincidentally found it.

So, what you guys think? I didn't include everything yet as I want to see your views first, but once posts comes in, we can discuss the thing.
