A Strange Spider in Da Lat

Post by Azedenkae » Wed Oct 10, 2007 6:10 am

I found this pic a while ago posted on one of the Vietnamese news websites, which shows a spider caught on film in Da Lat. Just wondering if anyone knows what it could be:

Woah, that looks really freaky. I would freak out if that thing ever lands on me.
I hate spiders.

Okay, I think I found what it is (coincidentally).

Possibly a Spiny Orb-weaver, especially as I found one that looks very similar:

all species look like they do because of genetic mutations ;)
