Resuspending cytokines - Carrier proteins

Post by Beaker73 » Mon Jul 30, 2007 4:35 am

Hi all,
I have just purchased some cytokines (m-CSF and RANKL) from a commercial supplier. They are supplied lyophilized and without carrier protien. To store _at_ -20deg, the product sheet says to resuspend in water with a carrier protein.
Does anyone know which protein would be appropriate (I'm thinking BSA) and what concentrations? Do I need to make the carrier protein solution first and resuspend the cytokine in this?

Thanks for any help
