Lol... Actually i still believe my opinion :P If you need to be born with a bigger brain(if that was the only way to survive) evoultion would widen that canal

but so far 1 vote for 3. Canalon's theory
3- Give birth earlier when skull bones are not completely sealed. :D

Animals rely on instincts, humans rely on intelligence. Through development an unborn offspring learns the simple processes of life such as breathing, etc. Animals may learn alot more of these processes than humans; elephant calfs for instance are in the womb for two years i think and can walk almost as soon as they are born.
