karyotyping and Probing

Post by aaroncjj_2020 » Fri Jul 13, 2007 7:24 am

i have some uncertainty regarding robertsonian translocation. if i have only one cell, how am i able to do the karyotyping?

i understand that the Robertsonian Translocation is translocation between acrocentric chromosome. is there any probe that able to detect the translocation? (eg. between chro 14&21 and 16 and 21) thank you
