I thought is was a lot of white fur and blubber to keep the body warm during the cold winter months.

So cool. Polar animal has polar body
Actually a polar body is the remnant of meiosis in the process of ovogenesis. You can look in the dictionary on our site or type "Define: polar body" in the google search bar
