Trypsin with what % of EDTA to release cell?

Post by jzmtl » Wed Jun 13, 2007 6:02 pm

I need to release some activated macrophages (specifically IFN-gamma and PMA activated THP1 cells) from 6 well plate, but in the calalogue I see there are two type of trypsin, one with 0.25% EDTA and one with 0.05% EDTA. Which one do I need to use to relase the cells without lysing them?

Thanks!

I would try the lower % EDTA first.
