Genetic Modification

Hello all, im doin a writeup on genetic modification and need some help regarding the glofish, i need info on these specific points:

1. Struture of the DNA
2. Protein synthesis
3. Mutations
4. Recombinant DNA (how geneitc modification was achieved)
5. Monohybrid and Dihybrid crosses
6. Pedigree trees and Test Crosses

If u guys could guide me towards some relevent websites or information, it would be higly appreciated.

Wikipedia might be a good place to start, but to be honest you really cannot beat a good textbook.

For starters I recommend:
Life: The Science of Biology (Purves, Sadava et al.)

For an in-depth look at all these things and more:
Biochemistry (Stryer et al.)

They're excellent, if a little costly. Though this stuff is so fundamental (and basic, sorry) that an older edition of either would suffice.

thanks for the reply mate, i had a look at wikipedia but they dont seem to have any information about the points i am looking for. Is there any online version of the textbook or any other relevant websites which contain the information?
if you guys know of any, please let me know.
