Agrobacterium transformation

Post by SororSaudade » Fri May 11, 2007 10:27 am

Hello all!

I've been trying to transform Agrobacterium tumefaciens, strain EHA105, by the freeze-thaw method. I've done it a few times and didn't get any positive results, even with a liquid nitrogen shock before heating.
I was wondering if anyone had problems with this and could give me any tips.

Plus, is the triparental mating a better method to transform Agrobacterium? Has anyone tried these two methods?

Thanks
