Can anyone tell me what this is?

Post by i_r_e_d » Thu May 10, 2007 9:22 pm

My dad thinks I know the difference between a rose and a daisy but plants aren't really my strong point so can anyone tell me what the name of this bush is?

found in Albuquerque, New Mexico (5,000 altitude, dry hot summers, cold dry winters) THANKS!!!

This bush was about waist high sprinkled with these little flower guys...

mm... i have no idea. sorry. but it will be better if a plant taxonomist can recoqnize what the plant is. (as long as i still not a good one on identify plant (+_+))

but, as we know.. picture cannot always represent the information that is needed by the expert. even an expert need the certain information.

so, i think people can tell you the plant taxon if we know more information about the plant, at least the morphology. we nevertheless, it depend on the information that we can get on the plant. the more information we got the better/easier we can identify the plant taxon.

you already give the description. it is GOOD!! it will be better if we know about the root morphology.. and... especially the structure of the flower.

hope you luck!! (^_^)

Hi, I'm a plant taxonomist. I can probably tell you what your plant is, but I need more info, i.e. a better picture (a side picture and a close up of the flowers and leaves).

There are alot of questions that a taxonomist needs to ask to identify a plant. Good descriptions and pictures are a huge help.

I hope I can help. :D
