cross eyed peoples' eye sight

Post by christie » Wed May 25, 2005 7:31 am

Hello!
Does anyone have an idea of how cross-eyed people see?!--even if they are born w/ it or just happened to become cross-eyed at some point of their life, i don't know if it makes a difference--A teacher told me that they have normal eye sight but didn't seem too sure. If the focus point of the eye though is looking upwards how is it possible for them to have normal sight??!I

If they were born cross-eyed, they will experience their eye-sight as normal: the only problem they might have is experiencing difficulty in estimating distances.

Normal sight is they have no flaw in the quality of the image. They just have problems with directing it

so what you are saying is that...one eye might be focusing upwards whereas the other one might be focusing straight ahead??I suppose they get used to it right?do you know whether that causes them to have other problems...eg.dizziness,headaches?
