complementary base pairing

Post by avanex20 » Sun May 06, 2007 12:13 am

Why is complementary base pairing so essential to segregation of alleles during meiosis. I mean i kno this occurs during anaphase I of meisois and is related with homologous chromosome seperation but I cant see what it has to do with complementary base pairing. Thanks!

The question makes no sense to me either. For what that's worth.

yeah makes no sense at all, if it's ana 1, then it's the homologs separating. the comple bases better stay together, or else.
