Compounds of neurotransmitters

Hey all,
I am stuck on a biology practice question and i was wondering if anyone knew the answer.
The question is:
"What compound do neurotransmitters contain?"

The answer is: it depends which neurotransmitter you are talking about.
"What are humans if they don't learn at University? Animals, yes."

Yah it's true. There are many kinds of neurotransmitters with different compositions for different affects :)

basic stuff, carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen.

not basic stuff, neurotransmitters can be derived from amino acids, peptides, cofactors, a few more
