hi..i'm doing a project at school and i'm wondering if anyone could tell me whether the relationship between diffusion rate and surface area/volume ratio is linear or non-linear?

Setup an equation for each term, and simplify by cross cancelling.

diffusion rate = permeability queficient(for the given solute) * surface area * concentration difference
