Just to add to this topic can anyone tell me which college or place is the best for getting a biology masters or phd.

It doesn't really work that way - a graduate degree has a focus on a subdiscipline, and schools excel in different areas. Often it's the lab rather than the school around it.

what i mean is that which ones seam to have a science based reputation... im not from america so i was wondering if there was one like that there like there is in new zealand.
