Dear Sirs..I want to ask ..do the isozymes which is isomers or whats called the mirror images of the enzyme have the same sequnce of the DNA but its diffrent in the mechanism of expression or they do have multiple sequences depend on its numbers?? any body has info. about that??

Isozymes are just different alleles of the same enzyme - no mirror images involved. They have different amino acid sequences. Any of you ladies like to comment?

but they both catalyze the same reactions :)
Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.

ok then..its the same enzyme but with different allel expresion..but why many enzymes reported to have many types of isozyme..my MSc project was including starch gel technique (electrophresis) to test MDH isozyme samples.. i ve got 4 types of it..i mean 4 band in the same path..so what that result tell?? dose it have some conclusion about the enzyme action or the enzyme activity??or any thing related with the enzyme or its oregin??
thanks for you time by the way ..
