I need to know the lowest temperature at which yeast cells stay alive so that I can write my hypothesis. Can any one help??

Yeast are usually stored frozen at -76°C, not that liquid nitrogen would not work, but it is more expensive. So you probably need to look below 0°K to kill yeast by cold
