To easily start an essay, especially scientific one, you should make a "frame" to limit your discussion: what you will write and how far you will discuss it. Of course, before doing that you have to decide the topic or main idea. Also, it can be used to decide how long your essay will be. This will anticipate too long or to wide discussion, and the best thing is you have a "highlight" thing, which can be used to attrack readers ;)

GOOD LUCK with your essay! We would like to read when it's done by then :)

Hey there

yeah I'm a little worried bout this essay (the max. word limit is 2500) and this is the first essay I have ever done! (1st yr uni. was like fill in the blank, multi choice type questions)..also the topic is stated as above I was thinking of say talking about 4 studies that have been carried out and then discussing each one and see the similarites/differences between them...you reckon this will be OK?

cheers

It will be very ok :)

Now start your framework and you will flow with the water afterwards ;)
