Old World vs New World

Could someone explain to me the difference between Old World Tropical and New World Tropical?? :cry:

Old World is the world before Christopher Columbus discovered the Americas and New world is after!

I wish scientific papers would use language that you didn't need knowledge of history to decipher

Old world = africa, asia, australia
New world = Central and Southern America

That is only for tropics. And i am not sure about australia in the old wolrd. Also europe is in the old world and north america in new world.

Old World tropics, including Africa, southeast Asia and Polynesian islands of the South Pacific.

Austrlia is known for wet tropics.

Old world is when the place is Beautiful and un touch by human..when all the animals,forest is protect and when the old people doesnt know about technology and very ordinary.
New world is when all the enviroment around us being distroyed and un protected with all the new tehcnology
