Hey everyone out there,
I am stuck on a question, that i really need help with. Does anyone know the answer to this question?:

"How many water molecules would be required to completely hydrolyse a carbohydrate polymer that contained a 100 monomers?"

Thanks a lot :)

It is difficult to say with 100 monomers subunit.
Rather you can check http://www.rsc.org/chemistryworld/Issue ... livery.asp for it.

How many required for, lets say, 5?
you can find the answer and you'll be able to find 100 by that way.
