No point bidding then as the highest bidders post won't be last.

I'm bidding ten US dollars. Any takers?

First US dollars is worth nothing, give me canadian dollars or Euro. I might even get tempted by renmibi/yuan since it is the money that backs the american economy

Besides I offered a very different bidding system:
first all bidders send me the money in a silent auction and then I keep all of it...

and Yes I post a message telling who gave me the biggest amount of money and claim it the winner while locking the thread......

How about ten kilograms of solid gold? That's worth a load of money anywhere.

10KG of gold!
Looks like I'll have to raid a goldmine for more.
Why can't this be left blank?

Let me run to the post office to open a postal box (I like my anonymity) and you can send it to me :-)
Oh and please wait a little so that others have time to make their bids, I'd rather collect as much money as possible before closing the bids ;-)

Although if you have that amount of gold, I can ony wonder why you need to work so hard to pay for your studies....
