How can the analysis of double mutant phenotypes lead to determining the sequence of gene action in a single morphogenetic pathway, and those that act in parallel pathways?
Are there any examples??

If you look at genes in the same pathway... and you know that gene A functions upstream of gene B... and thru the pathway the activate gene C... well if you knockout gene A or gene B.. you won't get activation of gene C... and if you knock both of them out... same thing no activation.
