Embryonic Stem Cell Research

Post by dragonfuture » Wed Dec 07, 2005 1:56 am

Hi, I'm Adam and I'm a freshman at South Kent School which is a boarding school in Conneticut. At the moment I am doing a debate on Embryonic Stem Cells and need to know if something is true. Is it true that they use rat tissue to sustain the embryonic stem cells?

I don't really get your question... What do you mean by "rat tissue to sustain the embryonic stem cells?"

i read this article that they had to mix the rat tissue with the stem cells to keep them from dying.

That was strange. I never heard using rat tissue as fertiliser (if that is what you mean...)

Although it might be true...
