Help with identification of microscope pictures

Post by mrbluebottle » Wed Jun 04, 2008 12:39 am

Hello all
I can't believe I found a knowledgeable source of information. It will take days to read all the post here. Thanks
But my question is that I have several microscope slide pictures I need a little help with identifying.
This first one was from an oral sample, I recognize most of the normal flora of the oral cavity, But the parts with the arrows pointing to I am not sure. Something to put in a google search would sure help me identify this.

Does anyone know what this is on these 2 epithelial cells

Thanks for any help

That is weird....

I did some research and found these pictures:

According to the site it's Candida. ... ci_arttext

I don't know very much about medical important fungi so I'm probably wrong.
