Virtual reality vs real life

Post by newuser » Wed Sep 17, 2014 3:45 am

Hello I'm new here and I've been doing research on how biology ties into VR and I need help with 3 questions

1. In VR could you change things like your sexuality in VR or your appearance ?

2. In VR could you do things or create things that aren't impossible in real life ?

3. Could your body be asleep and live in something such as a flotation tank and your mind in VR ?

1. sure, why not?

2. depends what exactly you mean but probably yes

3. well, in such far future, maybe

1. Probably so unless the specific virtual reality's purpose is to resemble reality as much as possible then I supposed not. But not because it would be impossible but because rules would forbid.

2. I think you wanted to say that 'are impossible in real life' and yes why not. There might be a virtual reality where you could actually fly because why not

3. In a future (further or nearer) most definitely yes
