This is not a homework problem. I was working on some biological problems and was stucked with this one. Help me please. :?

Ras oncogen is involved in various human and animal cancers. Some DNAs have been isolized from a number of normal tissues and cancerous tissues.
i. Cellular DNA is treated with EcoRI
ii. The DNA then is treated with gel electrophoresis and then moved to membrane nitrocellulose.
iii. DNA ras probe with radioactive labels then was applied to the x-ray film
iv. The autoradiograph result : (see image)

1. leucocyte from a healthy donor
2. human lymphoma cell (cancerous)
3. human urinary bladder carcinoma cell (cancerous)
4. human sarcoma cell (cancerous)
5. blood taken from a healthy rat
6. rat myeloma cell (cancerous)

For each DNA sample of cancerous cell above, suit the most possible transformation mechanism according to the autoradiogram result by writing the numbers indicated above on these blanks (there might be multiple answers for a blank).
1). Point mutation on the gene .....................
2). Chromosomal rearrangement that involved the gene ....................
3). Gene amplification .....................
4). Oncogenic retrovirus insertion .....................

What I'm sure enough is number 4 for the gene amplification mechansim, the others, I'm rather confused.
