You mean Dopamine Maybe Tourette's syndrome m Maybe alcoholism (and therefore maybe any addiction) m But can you call addiction a disease?? You'll have to read that one more closely as it looks like an hypothesis. Dopamine-responsive Dystonia (whatever that is? I'll leave it for you to read)) m Mayb...

Chris4 thinks that only girls/women use cosmetics. Thats why I said that. And gave that example about soap. Anyway, I'm not feminist, Andrew. I didnt really imply that. (or at least i didnt want to). I was just saying they use them the most. Which is fact. Of course men use cosmetics aswell. Anyway...

Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. PCR with reverse transcription Reverse transcriptase-PCR (RT-PCR) is a powerful tool for gene expression analysis at the RNA level, primarily due to its sensitivity, speed, ease of use, and versatility. In a typical RT-PCR procedure, a reverse transcr...

Yes plants can comunnicate. In the forest when some danger occur to some plant, this plant can release a chemical substance which spread through air and other plants can catch it and be prepared for danger. This is all what i know about plant comunication.[/quote] How do plants prepare for danger?

What are these electrical circuits? If you pull a plant out of the ground then of course there will be changes in the surrounding plants because you have caused a change in the soil and environment etc. Same with if you cut a part of the plant off. There will be a change in the air or environment an...

We kill microbes every day when we clean our room/house. So 1) doesnt count. Bacteria and microbes have no feelings. If we did no experiments on yeast, e coli etc then we would have very little to learn in biology. Also fruit flies (Drosophilia) are ok also. A lot of what we know about genetics come...

i dont think there are any cosmetics tested on animals in the UK anymore. ?? Of course its wrong. Animal testing should only be done for research into diseases which kill a lot of people. cancer, aids etc. To stop it we can only buy products which say not tested on animals on them. Sounds correct. Just to add that the conversion to ng/ul from ug/ml is exactly the same because ng is 10-9, ug 10-6 and ml 10-3. Thats 10 to the power of -9 etc. Therefore 10-6/10-3 is same ratio as 10-9/10-6. Works if you do the maths.
Please correct me if im wrong.
