There will always be a limit to what we are able to learn about the universe, so even if naturalistic determinism is correct, chances are we will never know it. Thus there will always be room for other interpretations.

AFJ, theology and the natural sciences are two completely different fields. You can't use the rules of one to command the other. That'd be like trying to steal second base in the middle of a football game.

Neither NS nor evolution are directional. Organisms adapt to survive in whatever environment they happen to be at the moment; they are not concerned with what "direction" they are heading as long as they can survive and reproduce.
