Re: Intelligent Design?

The movie was entirely for-profit and political. It ignored the fact that there was already a somewhat coherent Theory Of Intelligent Design in writing. Here it is today, coherently explaining the Cambrian Explosion and a good number of other things: http://theoryofid.blogspot.com/ Uhh, sorry, my f...

Re: Intelligent Design?

With all the scientific advances that we have today, why hasn't this exact point been proved yet? I don't want to start a debate here...I am merely interested in people's objective thoughts as scientists. The movie was entirely for-profit and political. It ignored the fact that there was already a ...

Egg Yolk Coacervates & pH Imaging

I'm trying to describe a new (for teachers) classroom experiment where egg yolk is mixed with red cabbage pH indicator solution which forms very lively (what should be) coacervates. My first problem is I do not have the microscope system to get a good video of them but here they are at around 1600x ...

Thanks MrMistery for seeing what I was saying about origin of life and evolution needing to be kept separate! It can sound like I am being overly politically correct. But as you know, for practical reasons it is necessary to correct that misconception. I also have to agree that from what I have seen...

Origin Of Life forum?

I would like to suggest an "Origin Of Life" forum. It's a topic that scientists are trying to keep separate from evolution but with only an evolution forum present it's impossible to do.

It's not a big deal, I just thought it would be a useful suggestion worth mentioning.

I understand that Wikipedia is written for the general public but that does not change the fact that at least on the internet a new scientific view is now replacing the old. If you want to see scientists discussing the problem then here is one I found interesting: m Do you have a recent reliable sou...

Re: Prokaryotes Question

Hi Jorge, Sometimes Wikipedia is the best resource available. The exact same list and description is found at other sources but it's hard to say whether they are quoting Wiki or Wiki is quoting them. There are other sources of information like this: m What is now taught in (at least) US schools and ...

Re: Prokaryotes Question
