Re: Why The Religious Minded Rule Science With Science

Thank you for such civil replies! This is a more serious forum anyway. Place for me to get away from where it is always total chaos to help restore me back to some sanity. The hard part of eliminating biases is showing where it exists which of course makes one somewhat of an outcast in some science ...

Re: Why The Religious Minded Rule Science With Science

Other than helping to understand science and the scientific issues, I have no affiliation with any church or follow one religion. Yet I am called a religious nutter, Bible-thumper and just about every religious insult that exists. I am now known as a "Creationist" even though my knowledge ...

Re: Why The Religious Minded Rule Science With Science

From what I have found so far I am very certain that it doesn't work that way. As is happening right now anti-religious scientists dwell on what cannot be done, the ultimate science-stoppers. Might make an OK lab technician or are able write papers maybe invent something, but a science changing theo...

Why The Religious Minded Rule Science With Science

Here is a message now in Dover, PA (and number of other places) I know some here are going to like. It links to their Schools and Education forum where I answer some of the interesting comments but it is not a cross-forum, just where it had to be published so that the information makes it to the med...

AFJ, you had excellent questions. And also found the following sentence that I am not surprised has a weakness: Speciation Or a population that became isolated from another can experience genetic drift that forces them forever apart. But this would take vast amounts of time also, as your theory says...

Re: Any SOLID arguments against evolution?

Sorry Gary your going to have to be a bit more specific on that, there's about 30 pages there and i don't have time to read it all at the moment, if you are referring to the population starting from a few individuals at a cellular level then this is not what I'm referring to, I'm referring to the t...

Re: Any SOLID arguments against evolution?

.... i know (and sorry if i seem a bit one-sided with this comment)that it is impossible for a whole race of people to have originated from two people--Many more problems than low genetic variation. Even so i don't need to know what race they were, by the fact that we actually have several seperate...

Re: Any SOLID arguments against evolution?

We all have the same fossils, strata, chemistry, and science to study--we are just looking at it through different glasses. At least I can't argue with that AFJ! I didn't really understand the point about Adam and Eve, are you trying to show where death originated and that the Bible symbolically us...

Re: Any SOLID arguments against evolution?

No. 1. If evolution is true then Adam and Eve are not, because death entered into the world before them. No.2 If Adam and Eve are just a bible story then there is no inherited sin that was passed down from Adam--that is a sin nature in our genes that makes us want to do opposite the law of God. No....

Re:

I know, none of this has anything to do with our topic; I'm just going on about how beautiful the natural world can be. No wonder I am studying to become a scientist, huh? You show the curiosity and excellent problem skills of a born scientist. It's something that no school or university can give a...

New Home/Classroom Fruit Fly Speciation Experiment

Speciation was sorted out which led to to the discovery that a university level fruit fly experiment being used to demonstrate behavioral (intelligence science) speciation belonged in intelligence theory where it then becomes a K-12 project. The way the logic fell into place this is what someone in ...
