Aren't liver cells triploid? If so, yes it has the same chromosomes - just 3 copies instead of the usual 2. That's right isn't it...? And yes the gene for the stomach protein could be found in the cheek cells. All human cells (except erythrocytes) contain your DNA which is always the same. n.b. now ...

Actually I think that stuff is supposed to be very good for the skin. Keeps it moisturised and supple, so I'm told.

No. Drinking too much alcohol can lead to bad skin on the face. To which I can attest after this weekend's outings... Having a quick shoofty every now and then isn't a waste of energy and won't lead to skin problems (unless you are a bit eager, of course). Though wasn't it Dr. Kellog or somesuch tha...
