I'm working on some an essay that regards elicitors (endogenous and exogenous) and am having some trouble finding literature about the subject.

I would propably think the redness is some low tolerance your body has to the chemicals present in the alcohollic beverages you ingest. Some people get red cheecks, qweeziness, etc

You may even be alergic to alcohol. If it is worrying you, go see what your doctor says.
