Cellular dNTP pool

Greetings!
Can anybody give me a link, a reference, any information about where can I find data about cellular dNTP concentrations. Papers talk about increase/decrease in dNTP concentrations, but I need numbers/ratios

Thanks in advance!

Re: frn vs. ffn

Thanks, but FYI, not all directories in NCBI FTP site contain readme file. That was the reason, I asked for advice.

frn vs. ffn

Greetings

I need coding sequences of eukaryotes. NCBI ftp contains both frn and ffn files. Can you, please, tell me, what is the difference, and what format I should use for the analysis (it should be cDNAs only)

promoter database or other source

Greetings! I'm looking for promoter sequences of E. coli and B. subtilis (and maybe other organisms in future). For my research I need frequencies of different promoters existing in the given organism. In fact I haven't succeeded to find this information in internet. Maybe there is a database of pro...

I'm interested in coding sequences, and they can be either on + or on - strand (as far as I know)

Solution

Thanks for all the replys, I've found the solution, so, may be it will help others:

in NCBI files in ffn format contain mRNA synonimous sequences, i.e. not the transcribed strand ...

Thanks once more

coding sequences - help, urgent!

Greetings! I apologize, if the question seems stupid... I work with "coding sequences" from NCBI ftp site. The sequences are on FASTA format and their file extension is ffn. I thought that those are supposed to be sequences from the transcibed DNA strand, but if you look at them, the start...

nucleotide pools - reference needed

Hi all!
Did anybody see anything about transcriptional control by nucleotide pool exhaustion? Any link or reference to review of transcription control mechanisms is welcom. Thanks to all :)
