simply, all those mistakes are then repaired.
Almost 1 mistake per 10,000,000 is taking place while DNA replication according to the book of Brooker ( Principles of Genetics ).

Check it out :D

Re:

Teleportation is quantum physics, not biology. Even cells would need to be carried by something physical. Just imagine : Mutation in Chromosome number 22 Gene Number 345 Position between -35 and -25 region Nucleotide Number 2556 By that mutation, human will be able to control every cell in his body...

I wonder, Do you think that a day will come in the far future, when biology announce the " teleportation technology in Biology " !! It will be really great achievement for humanity for be teleportated between places in less time! http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_qzUO62a2vH8/Sj7_qEBstVI/AAAAAAAAAt...

Annealing step: The reaction temperature is lowered to 50–65 °C for 20–40 seconds allowing annealing of the primers to the single-stranded DNA template. Typically the annealing temperature is about 3-5 degrees Celsius below the Tm of the primers used. Stable DNA-DNA hydrogen bonds are only formed w...

Re: Dead plant, how long, can you tell?

Is there a general rule as to how long it takes before it turns brown or does it vary with diferent kinds of plants? As JackBean said that the " brown color comes from dead cell ", so, it is base on the size of that particular plant:- - The larger the plant body, the greater the cells num...

Well, About the color, I think there will be no green color especially in the meristematic regions of the plant body. Since you said No sun, then it means no light will penetrate the parts of the plant body, hence, the plastids which are responsible for photosynthesis will not work efficiently as th...

Re:

I think these are not, what I was asking for. As I said, I don't want any textbook You would need to check them before judging by " I think " These books are explaining science by the same way of the " Selfish Gene " and " Gaia ". Some of them are even published by the...

Re: book recomendation

Hi everybody, I know books about selfish gene or Gaia (well, I didn't read them), but these are evolutionary/ecological. Are there any similar books but regarding biochemistry, molecular and/or cell biology? Not something like Alberts' The Cell or Voet's Biochemistry, but something into science... ...

Re:

hashem: you're right, it's better to do experiments, which are pretty old ( http://www.biology-online.org/biology-forum/about17985.html ) or come up with never existing technology ( http://www.biology-online.org/biology-forum/about18602.html ), right? I really don't feel sorrow when I hear that don...

Re:

hashem: does that change the point? Just look to the scientific media making small things as a big thing ! Dr Craig Venter rearranged the genes of the Bacteria making the same bacterial genome, and inserted that into the bacteria again, and the media said " He created life"! They don't kn...

Re:

just because you're kind of retarded in science development, doesn't mean that you have to do the same as has been done lsewhere. Especially, because it is already done. 20 years ago, there was no molecular biology, today, we have already announced nonnatural life... So, you should start with somet...
