The claim the human evolution has stopped is completely false. Humans to this day continue to evolve, for example there's the recent mountain natives who have larger lungs because they've lived in an elevated area but have only been living there for less than 300 years. That's pretty fast adaptation...

It really comes down to who you ask, and their level of education. Personally I'd say palm tree, because it's more universally recognized, even though you're technically correct.
