Classification of non-coding RNA

We wish to share RNAcon, a web-server for the prediction and classification of non-coding RNAs. It uses SVM-based model for the discrimination between coding and ncRNAs and RandomForest-based prediction model for the classification of ncRNAs into different classes. The structural information based g...

How US shutdown effect your research

Due to recent shutdown we are not getting updated information from NCBI site (PUBMED, Biological Database). We used this as well as other US based web sites in our research, indirectly it is effecting our research. I wants to know from other users whether their research is also effected

Inhibitors against Bactera

We are please to announce a server KiDoQ ( m ) developed by our group for predicting inhibitors against Dihydrodipicolinate synthase (DHDPS). Enzyme DHDPS is a potential drug target found in a unique DAP/Lysine pathway of bacteria. This server allows users to design and predict inhibitors against ba...

Classification RNAs

Dear Friends Their are different types of RNAs (coding, non-coding) like mRNA, t-RNA, miRNA, r-RNA. Its not clear to me how cell decide the type of RNA, I mean why certain RNA string is treated miRNA and other is treated as t-RNA. Form me all are RNA sequence. Is their any method/algorithm which can...

Inhibitors against Lysine/DAP pathway of Mycobacterium tuber

Dear Friends, Recently, we have screened inhibitors against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. List of inhibitors and our strategy of screening inhibitors have been described in a paper published this week in BMC Bioinformatics. Here, I am providing link of this paper and other papers published this week. ...

Re: Prediction of ligand binding sites

Agree accuracy is less but atpint server allows to choose threshold value. It means if you want to predict atp interacting residue with high probability than you may choose high threshold value. In simple world SVM score of each residue is proportional to probability of correct prediction. See serve...
