well the most common lipid is triacylglycerol, which is the typical glycerol with three fatty acids joined onto it by ester linkages. The fatty acid is just the carboxylic acid that joins to the alcohol, the actual fat is the three acids and alcohol together as the triglyceride.

I'm totally guessing here, but since viruses down 'eat' (using the term loosely) then they are pretty easily cultures, in fact they won't need medium or anything (Unless you want them to multiply, in which case you can give them lots of yummy host cells) :) just a thought. :D

Hi peeps.

I am in my final year at scool and am applying to universities very soon and i was just wondering if there was much of a difference between sports science and physiology courses?

If you like Bioinformatics then I say go for it, my friend has recently finished her phD in Bioinformatics and she is in huge demand, especially by companies and research teams in Europe, I don't know about america. She says the world is screaming out for new bioinformatics graduates.
