<h2>Chemical Constituents of Dichloromethane Extract of Cultivated <em>Satureja khuzistanica</em></h2> <strong>Firouz Matloubi Moghaddam<sup>1</sup>, Mahdi Moridi Farimani<sup>1</sup>, Sabah Salahvarzi<sup>1</sup> and Gholamreza Amin<sup>2</sup></strong> <p><em><sup>1</sup>Department of Chemistry, Sharif University of Technology and <sup>2</sup>Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Tehran University of Medical Science Tehran, Iran</em> </p> <p><a></a><strong>Abstract </strong><br> <br>Four compounds ß-sitosterol, ß-sitosterol-3-<em>O</em>-ß-D-glucopyranoside, ursolic acid and 4',5,6-trihydroxy-3', 7-dimethoxyflavone were characterized from the dichloromethane extract of the aerial parts of <em>Satureja khuzistanica</em> (Lamiaceae), a native medicinal plant growing in Iran, on the basis of spectral analysis and comparing with the data in literature.
