Yersinia

(Science: bacteria) genus of gram-negative bacteria of the enterobacteriaceae, all are parasites or pathogens. Yersinia pestis (formerly pasteurella pestis) was the cause of the black Death plague.

Bubonic plague - yersinia pestis info please

I tried medline, but i wanted to find a specific mechanism about what the bacteria ( Yersinia pestis ) do in the lungs when they infect someone. Does anyone know where can i find some articles about this?
