Whitmores disease

Whitmore's disease --> melioidosis

A disease of humans and animals that resembles glanders. It is caused by burkholderia pseudomallei and may range from a dormant infection to a condition that causes multiple abscesses, pneumonia, and bacteraemia.

... simply because, (and don't get me wrong....I did not want to have that disease any way!) I have also watched the emerging diseases come/go and change ... on this soil bacterium, pseudomona pseudomallei, and it is also called Whitmores Disease from what they are calling....the Whitmores bacillus. ...
