Capsules and Slime layers

... I was just wondering seen as a capsule is attached to G+ cell walls does that mean that slime layers attach to G- cell walls? Ive an exam on Wednesday and im just trying to get my head around the surface structure of bacteria.. If anyone could answer my question it would be greatly appriciated ...

If you mean finding that garlic has antimicrobial activity before the investigation, why would that be necessary? Isn't the test itself ...

Wednesday in lab I went ahead and streaked my organism to a blood agar plate to obtain further information and check for beta hemolysis and growth characteristics. Are there any other biochemical tests I might consider running?
